"It took exactly one question about Mike Pouncey’s wild snaps to trigger the scowl of offensive coordinator Steve Addazio.
Pouncey snapped three balls into the ground against Miami (Ohio) and had several other bad snaps that disrupted the offense’s timing. When asked about it Wednesday, Addazio (who also coaches the offensive line) said the discussion needs to end now.
“You’re talking about someone that played in the Sugar Bowl — let me get that clarified right now,” he said as his tone sharpened. “He was the back-up center for a year last year. He played in the Sugar Bowl. Had no issues and had no issues through camp. That surfaced and when something surfaces, you address it. How do you address it? You work harder, you practice harder. No one’s got more focus and attention on that than Mike Pouncey."
