The Florida Gators (1-0) should have wide receiver Percy Harvin, linebacker Brandon Spikes, and guard Jim Tartt this Saturday vs Miami (FL). The three had to sit out against the 56-10 win vs Hawaii last Saturday. Harvin suffered from a heel injury in April and has not really had any contact practices yet, but did practice last week but still not at the full 100% level. Coach Meyer told reporters that Harvin and Spikes should be ready to play against Miami, Spikes who injured his right foot last week. Meyer said Tartt is still questionable, But “I think He’ll play”. [stated from SI.com] Tartt has been out due to a minor shoulder injury that took effect early this year.
Junior linebacker Ryan Stamper took Spikes place against Hawaii and came out and broke his thumb but played out through the pain the rest of the game. That is the toughness he showed and it tells us that he wants to be out there. Stamper went and had surgery done on Sunday. [stated from SI.com] Florida will take on Miami at The Swamp at 8:00 that can be seen on ESPN and ESPN 360.
