"Former University of Florida broadcaster Steve Babik on Tuesday pleaded guilty to one count of receiving and distributing child pornography and faces a minimum sentence of five years in prison.
According to the United States Attorney's Northern District office, a statement of facts filed in connection with Babik's plea stated an internet protocol address assigned to Babik offered known child pornography files for distribution on 326 occasions between June 2008 and November 2009."
(My two cents: Had Babik not accepted the plea bargain, the sentence he would be facing would be a lot more severe. As much as the media loves to rip our players for infractions of the law, the more stupid things they've been guilty of - especially the dumb macho fights and petty stuff - pale in comparison to what Babik had been doing. This is just vile and disgusting.)
