One thing he mentioned that I want to further comment on:

Upsetting to hear the quotes from Ahmad Black’s father written on the Sun, question whether something like that should be posted or not in the first place even if it was on a blog. Urban Meyer talked about how close the team was and then to hear how Ahmad’s father says the Lakeland kids are all going pro and took some shots at Meyer and mentioned the ‘r’ word. It’s opposite to what the Pouncey twins mother said. But guess the Pouncey’s don’t have any issues with playing time.

Hate that no respect thing it’s so lame, Meyer is all about respect. You do what’s expected you get respect. My motto has been respect all but you have to earn my trust, would think with Meyer and his players everything is earned but he said this is a mature team he said that so many times. They had earned his deep respect.

Trust me Swampie, hearing that upsets me too. Urban Meyer cares about all of his players; he doesn't come across to me as somebody who would slight one over the other on purpose. Apparently Ahmad Black's father has an agenda; that, or he's that type of sport parent who lives vicariously through his child because he couldn't/didn't/wouldn't accomplish the same thing and pushes a coach to "play my kid". This is the type of parent who coaches dread, and also the reason why coaches resign. Knowing Coach Meyer, he won't give in to any parental pressure, especially coaching a college program - HE'S the one who calls the shots, not the parents.

I'm so sick and tired of everybody who wants to undermine Gator football or does nothing but complain and criticise everything that's going on - the ones who keep doing that ought to take inventory of their lives. Could THEY coach this team to a 12-0 regular season record? If they even think they can, I dare them to even try.
