O-town Gator
Gator Fan
I believe what he's saying here, and I also believe Urban when he said "I plan on being the coach of the Florida Gators" post-Sugar Bowl. Still, the rumor-mongers and media pundita like Tim Brando are on the attack and some chicken-little fans are panicking (if they're like this in real life as well as cyberspace, they seem to be the types who'd wet themselves at an ice-cream social - LOL!):
"If you look at Urban Meyer’s last two hires (D.J. Durkins LBs and Zack Azzanzi WRs to the left) he has to be planning on returning. He goes out and gets two young coaches he worked with before. Both were in college jobs and doing well.
Meyer would not go out and take these young men out of stable positions only to leave them back out on the streets in a short period of time. He isn’t that kind of a man.
Kirk Herbstreit said on his radio station that Urban Meyer would be in the booth calling college football games next year. All those second guessers out there, like Herbstreit, have to come up with a good argument against Meyer’s last two hires as to what his future plans are. Like the old ball coach, Meyer usually says what he means and means what he says."
