im so sick of boise st and tcu. must be nice to play 10 non bcs schools every year.
BSU turned down Nebraska's offer to put them on the schedule. Sounds like BSU is full of BS. I have not heard of anyone offering the same deal to TCU, but TCU has stated it would probably consider "re-joining" the Big 12 (with the former Southwest Conference leftovers still in the Big 12) if offered. That leads me to believe that TCU is less afraid of playing with the big boys than BSU.
I will jump on the Cinderella BSU bandwagon when BSU a) gets rid of the blue field and b) puts a big boy team on its regular schedule. I'm not saying to load the schedule with big boys--just put them there regularly rather than playing the big boys on occasion. Sure, they win those, but underdogs win all the time in bowl games because they are not regularly scheduled.
Back on topic, I would hate for the Gators to beat Alabama and have BSU jump to #1 or #2, but I'd take it. I would guess Florida would jump to #3 assuming Ohio State and Oregon win this week.
If Florida loses, which is very likely against the favored and very talented Alabama team, it might fall just outside the top 10 to #11.
In either case, I think we are too far outside the top 5 to get a BCS #1 or #2 in the best-case scenario. I am okay with losing to Alabama this week as long as we beat them in December.
