Sick of hearing about the SEC’s dominance of college football?

According to the Business of College Sports, seven of the 11 most profitable programs in 2010-11 were SEC football programs.
Florida comes in at sixth, down a spot from a year ago as LSU jumped ahead of UF to fourth. Here’s a look at the top 11. By the way, newcomer Texas A&M is at 14th, but Missouri doesn’t crack the top 50.
1. Texas $71.2 million profit.
2. Penn State $53.2 million.
3. Georgia $52.8 million.
4. LSU $47.0 million.
5. Michigan $46.7million.
6. Florida $46.5 million.
7. Alabama $45.2 million.
8. Notre Dame $43.6 million.
9. Tennessee $37.6 million.
10. Auburn $37.1 million.
11. Arkansas $37.0 million.
