"Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow was appointed co-chair of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness today by Gov. Charlie Crist. Tebow will serve with council chair and former Bucs linebacker Derrick Brooks, and co-chair Shannon Miller, and Olympic gold medalist gymnast.
The Heisman winner already has a good relationship with Crist. The two hit it off when Tebow, coach Urban Meyer and linebacker Ryan Stamper visited the Legislature in Tallahassee. Tebow even tossed a few passes to Crist."
