Tim Tebow is undecided on playing in Senior Bowl

Timmy needs every opportunity to impress the scouts. I have not seen many positive scouting reports so far.

Tebow has nothing to prove....he is the best football player in college history and will b a great nfl qb(with a lil work). He will go very high n the first round draft and i cant wait until he does to shut all the tebow haters up!

Timmy may be the best college QB in history, but he will be a nobody to the NFL if he does not get some postive scout reports. His only positive marks from scouts are his heart and strength. They are quiet or negative about his defense reading, delivery, and ability to put together a long drive. He did all of this in '06 to '08, but scouts have been harsh based on '09, no matter what the rest of us think of Timmy's overall legacy in college.

Agreed he is the best college football player ever.
He is not the best QB ever however.

"He will go very high n the first round draft" not a chance!

Agreed he wont go first round. But what good does he have playing in a meaningless game that's hardly organized. Tebow has some things to work on no doubt, but i dont believe that playing in this game benefits him that greatly. I dont believe the risk/reward pays of in this case.

Tebow needs to get a win vs cincy and play huge. That will directly impact his draft status.

I am making the following assumptions on Timmy:
- NFL scouts are highly impressed with his 2006-2008 statistics, but not his 2009 stats.
- Scouts gave Tebow 2009 to prove them wrong on his mechanics and ability to sustain a long drive down the field.
- The Sugar Bowl, win or lose, will not be enough to make up for the 2009 numbers that scouts are disappointed in.
- Tebow will make up a little bit of ground in the NFL combines.

Given those assumptions, I think he should play in as many venues as possible to make sure he does get drafted as a QB. There are still some scouts and plenty of pundits who want to see him switch to TE or some other position. As a QB, Timmy will probably not go in the 1st round (even though lil' ol' me thinks he is worthy of 1st round), and could theoretically go undrafted if it were not for his star power. Star power alone will get him drafted, but scouts need more ammunition to give Timmy the scouting reports he needs to be a serious QB in the NFL.
