Freshman forward Cody Larson and sophomore forward Erik Murphy were arrested last Saturday night for burglary according to multiple media reports.
Allegedly, the two tried to break into a car at a St. Augustine Bar and were later apprehended by police.
The two were charged with a felony count of burglary. A third person, student-manager Josh Adel was charged with a lesser crime as an accomplice.
They have also been suspended from the team according to a statement released by coach Billy Donovan Monday.
"I'm aware of Cody and Erik's situation and very disappointed with the news. The two are currently suspended from basketball-related activities. I'm not going to comment further until I have more information and get a chance to meet with both student-athletes."
It may not be apples to apples, but this is exactly the sort of thing that caused Urban Meyer to look for greener pastures.
