UF puts wrinkle in offense

"With little depth at tight end, Florida coach Urban Meyer might borrow an idea from his friend Bill Belichick, head coach of the New England Patriots.

Meyer said Thursday that the Gators have been lining up junior defensive end Justin Trattou in their offensive goal line package as a backup to starting tight end Aaron Hernandez.

Belichick utilized Mike Vrabel in similar fashion during the linebacker's eight-year stint with the Patriots. Vrabel caught eight passes -- all of them for touchdowns -- from 2002-07."
