Florida moved up to No. 8 in the latest Bowl Championship Series standings released Sunday night.
The Gators (6-1), who were No. 10 in the first BCS standings, will play Georgia (7-1), in at No. 6 in the BCS, in Jacksonville on Saturday.
The top five teams (Texas, Alabama, Penn State, Oklahoma and Southern Cal) in the BCS remain the same.
