USF fires Jim Leavitt

I live in Bulls country and I'm mixed because he led that program to the ground up however his team was inconsistent. McCarney and Tuberville I think are good choices.

I just want people to take a break from plucking UF coaches until next year. Take Tuberville--he's a good coach, he's familiar with the SEC, and he knows how to beat Florida (but that was 2006 with different players, so I am not worried for 2010).

Tommy Bowden's available, too.

This is good. I have SEC hating, Texas Tech coworkers. I get to rub it in that SEC haters need to learn SEC football in order to understand the coach!
