These are my predictions:
  • Florida honors former Georgia head coach Vince Dooley by beating the Dawgs 50-0. Just kidding. I predict a 45-3 beatdown of the hapless Gators.
  • Auburn delays the firing of Bryan Harsin and ekes out a 21-20 win over Arkansas.
  • No. 25 South Carolina extends its win streak over Missouri to six games in a 36-14 victory.
  • No. 3 Tennessee kicks the tooth out of No. 19 Kentucky 42-10.
  • No. 15 Ole Piss urinates all over Texas A&M 27-21.
  • No. 2 THE Ohio State beats THE Penn State

CJ Stroud of THE #2 Ohio State Suckeyes pads his Heisman resume with a signature win over THE #13 Penn State, 44-31.

@Escambia94,
What's with the "Deleted posts", E--?
Some aesthetic standard violated, or something?
Some deep disappointment voiced--but that's about the only real outlet we have left here, don't you think?

#25 South Carolina’s win streak over Missouri ends at five games, and their streak of being ranked ends at one.

One thing that (in spite of myelf, at least to some extent) I find interesting in Week 9's outcomes is the degree to which they support and ratify my longstanding distrust of "expert analysis", on the one hand, AND (somehow, at the same time) the Vegas Sports Books' touted "spreads" on the other--and in so doing in the latter case allow them, in attracting as much support as possible to the seemingly weaker team in a given matchup, to therefore ultimately maximize their own PROFITS.
Since that is their BUSINESS--AND, more than ever, it seems clear that MONEY is at the heart of sports in general nowadays--none of this should come as a surprise.
However, it is the extent to which all of this is running rampant that tends to overwhelmingly surprise even a cynic like myself. Maybe that's not so surprising...
Someone once said, after all:
"Show me a cynic, and I'll show YOU a disappointed idealist!"
