Weve been spoiled a little.

Well I know we are all still hurt and shocked after the bama loss but honestly we may have been spoiled since 06. Weve had 2 natl championships since 06,so I mean were doing better than alot of schools.Honestly I dont think any of us were expecting a natl championship this year, even though it would be nice we werent really expecting it. Since Urban's takeover of the program we have improved and became a very feared team. I can remember with Zook thinking we would never be in national championship contension for 6 or 7 years because our program was so jacked up. No Coach Meyer isnt scorching teams like the ol ball coach did ,but were still in the hunt every year.Were young and our oc is a idiot. Lets all be patient because we might have a shot at a nc this year,but if we dont remember how many of us really thought we were gonna bring it home this year. Next year will be our year, and bama has to come to the swamp.

I was expecting a national title. We had a very good defense coming into the season. The D line was deep. We had two experienced linebackers and two young prodigies. The secondary is arguably the best in the nation. On the offensive side we were supposed to be anchored by arguably the best O line in the nation. We had a deep backfield, lots of wide receivers, and a quarterback who was supposed to be the second coming of Danny Wuerffel. The only thing we had to get past was Alabama. I didn't see anybody else competing with us. But now we have an O line that isn't living up to expectations at all. A quarterback who turned out to be scared, nervous, and unable to lead. Runningbacks who aren't getting the tough yards (can't blame them, the dive play will only work so long). Despite all this, we can still win a national title if Addazio steps down and Loeffler is given control of the offense. That would solve everything. Addazio can then focus on getting his line to perform. Brantley can gain some confidence. The running backs and wide receivers will get their stats up with the new functioning offense. Everything would be fine. But you can't really say that you don't expect to win a title with the level of talent we have this year. Well, I guess you can seeing how we didn't win a title with the team we had last year. But come on, the 2010 Gator squad has enough talent to match up with every other national champion from the past decade. The problem lies with how that talent is being used.

I did not expect a national title, but I did expect us to "rebuild" without looking like the Bad News Bears. I hate getting 'effing laughed at on ESPN. I expected us to be competitive in a loss to Bama, not get our teeth kicked in like a JV team. Look, Addazzio. Even Va Tech looked better in its loss to Boise State. We can still make a real bowl game and get embarrassed by Boise State! I don't want that. Spoiled? Maybe. We have no excuse for not being competitive in our losses. If we win or lose ugly against LSU I will jump on the bandwagon. Spoiled? We will see.

We are spoiled only cause meyer put incompetent coache calling our offensive plays. Addazio sucks. He had all year last year to screw us now five games into this season he's well on his way to screwing us again. Two points our offensive line is " are strong point " or was supposed to be. Pouncey sucks as a center yet he does not see this. Our run blocking sucks. Second out play calling is horrible. Very predictable, lackluster, no creativity, we cant line up right, we look scared and confused. He's in control of both the line and play calling and up until today this has been our biggest weakness. Why meyer does not see this just blows my mind?
