Initially, I felt our o-line was doing a good job, despite Vandy's frequent blitzes. I could see Tebow checking down his receivers and actually getting time to see if they were open.
However, the o-line wasn't great and I felt they could have done a slightly better job at protecting Tebow...but still, I thought they did ok.
I would actually put more of the blame on Tebow and our playcalling for the game last night. Even I, Mr. Armchair QB, could tell a 5 or 6 man rush was coming and where they were coming from. I just don't understand why we weren't calling more audibles. A few of the times Tebow was sacked, he had enough time to get rid of the ball, but apparently all of our receivers were covered. (so I presume). I mean, why does Moody go into the slot? He's not going to get the ball so I think he'd be better used protecting Tebow. Why didn't we have more passes into the flats? For example, I thought our screen plays worked pretty well (when Tebow threw the ball accurately).
