Where will Tim Tebow land in the NFL Draft?

"Tim Tebow may have struggled at the Senior Bowl and shined at his Pro Day, but to determine his actual draft stock, and chances of being selected in the first round, look no further than the list of teams that have checked him out in a private workout.

Since holding his Pro Day at Florida on March 17, Tebow has held private workouts with six teams – Buffalo, New England, Cleveland, Washington, New England and Minnesota – with another one scheduled this week at Denver."

I think the only way he'll go in the first round is if the Patriots and I doubt it, they need D. Plus I don't like the Pats and don't want him there.

As I have stated on the forum before, let's not get hung up on Timmy going in the first round. He gets 330K/year just to sponsor shoes. Throw in the ~$500K minimum salary he would get as a backup QB and he is set for the first couple years while he can learn the trade. He needs at least one year to learn the NFL so he can prove the naysayers wrong. If he goes in round 1, he will be expected to start next year before he is ready as a QB, or he will get thrown in as a wildcat or smokescreen.

As PhinPhan I would hate for him to go to buffalo ( sorry, Block O) or to that "evil genius" in NE. I do however believe that he will go in the first round and whatever team does get him will benefit from his presence almost immediately.

LOL!!!! There are so many fans who want Clausen...If we land tebow that would be awesome!!!! I don;t see us drafting a pansie from california though, we have been burned too many times with players like Edwards, Losman, and Rob Johnson....with that said I think Bulaga will drop and thats who we draft. I think someone will get Tebow in the late first...like you said the Evil Genius, who apparently loves Tebow.

By the way, sorry about Ted Ginn LOL!!!!!!!

The Tim Tebow-Buffalo Bills relationship appears strong
NFL Draft, Tim Tebow — posted by jeremy fowler on April, 14 2010 8:55 AM Discuss This: Comments(2) | Add to del.icio.us | Digg it
While in Buffalo in late March, the NFL’s favorite dinner date — Tim Tebow — shared a meal with former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly.
Apparently Tebow didn’t disappoint in his meetings with the Bills staff.

Will Tim Tebow hold up a Buffalo Bills jersey next week?

George Cortez, the quarterbacks coach of the Bills, was an assistant coach at Rice University in the late 70s alongside Craig Howard, Tebow’s former high school coach at Jacksonville Nease.
Well, Cortez called his old buddy Howard and raved about Tebow’s visit.
“He said he was so impressed by Timmy’s knowledge of the game,” Howard said. “He gave me the impression that his visit to Buffalo couldn’t have gone better. It sounds like they really hit it off.”
Buffalo is one of a reported seven teams to either have worked out Tebow individually or plan to inquire about his services. That list includes the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos (this week), Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins.
Buffalo, desperate for a franchise quarterback, currently holds the 9th overall pick for the April 22-24 draft in New York. Ninth might be too high for Tebow, who hasn’t decided on whether to attend the draft, but the Bills have the 41st pick in the second round and could trade up for Tebow’s services.

I do like blogs like this :D, oh and by the way...Pam Tebow was just in Buffalo (for the first time) doing a Pro-Life event.

(Maybe he'll be challenged enough this season by Brandon Marshall to reach his potential.)
..............

Tebow will give all the teams a fair shake. Bear in mind though, he is an admirer of Tom Brady and seems to have a rapport with the Evil Genius.

Personally I think he'll go the Pats way, because Belichick is a Gator guy. and behind Brady would not be a bad place for Tebow to sit. Plus he could be the wildcat QB the pats need.

OR

To the Broncos, obviously they need something big after marshall being traded to Miami. but in Denver, Tim will be forced to produce immediately as whatever they need.

The two best spots for Timmy would be either in Minnesota behind Favre, or in New England behind Brady.

Indy might be a good place for him as well, but i hate the Colts so, NO! haha

Absolutely!!! I think Bellichick was talking again today about him. You usually only see him talk about a player like that if its Bruschi or Pats Alumn. Hopefully he does go to a team that believes in him and gives him a legit shot at being a QB.

But we signed Chad Jackson. there is a new Gator guy in the NFL in Chan Gailey. I can't wait to see this draft with Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey, its going to be SEC early and often.

Charlie Crist did recommend JAX drafting Tebow. I hope they do not. He will not grow as a player without leaving home first and going later in the draft. Think of it not as Tebow leaving, but the Messiah being reborn after three rounds.
