I know Florida produces a ton of NFL WR talent... I think what some people argue is that none of this talent turns into superstars. Darrell Jackson is the closest thing to a star WR we've had in the last decade, and he's washed up now.

Since Urban Meyer arrived at Florida, as many UF receivers have gone in the draft (six) as any program in the country. The Gators are tied with LSU and Ohio State, double the number produced by USC, the shiny model for the pro-style offense crowd.

Florida is one of two schools nationally to have a WR selected in the last four NFL Drafts.

There were seven former Florida wide receivers on NFL rosters in 2008, six of them caught a pass during the season.

I hope you're not trying to fight off the Gator haters. You know as well as I do that it won't work as long as other schools flash some facts about having 50-100 years of college championships and 50+ years of NFL Hall of Famers from their schools.

I just hope UM sticks around long enough to build Florida into a school that people will consider as being the USC, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, etc. of this era.
