Florida's struggles on the field this season are reflected in the AP All-SEC team that was released Monday. Only four Gators are on the first and second teams.

Gators making the first team were senior strong safety Ahmad Black, junior cornerback Janoris Jenkins and senior punter Chas Henry. Senior center Mike Pouncey, who was a first-teamer a year ago at offensive guard, is on the second team.

Auburn's strong season is reflected on the team. Quarterback Cam Newton was a unanimous choice for SEC offensive player of the year, while Tigers' defensive tackle Nick Fairly is the defensive player of the year and Gene Chizik got the nod for coach of the year.

************************************************

Wow, not one Gator on the All-SEC 1st Team Offense. When was the last time that has happened?

And, what does it say about offensive team when the only Gator chosen on all 3 teams is Mike Pouncey?

LOL - How bad are we if Mike Pouncey is the best offensive player we have?

Yep, it is the Coaches poll. Affirms our feelings on Pouncey who was left off the poll completely....
