Baseball now 5-0

Gators won both ends of a double-header tonight. They are now 5 and 0 on the season. They haven't looked overly dominant and have some work to do, but you gotta love the perfect record so far and not dropping a game against inferior teams in the beginning of the season.

We'll see how they do this weekend in Coral Gables against a very talented miami team. It's one thing to beat a weaker team in your own park; it's another to go on the road to miami and win.

GATORS fighting back....that's a good sign. Pigott just homered with 1 on. We're in this thing. I'm thinking we're ok in the series. Nice to show some heart, but that's a GATOR!

We had decent pitching last night....coughed up 5 errors...that will not shake it against a quality team.

Bummer to see Miami throw right at our leading hitter when he squared to bunt....coughing up blood...took him out of the game. Standard knee twisting Cane thing.

hopefully bring it to them today behind the freshman. Stop the errors, keep up the run production and take a "W"

GATORS avoid the sweep, gotta like their fight. We move to 6-2. Not a bad start. We clean up some errors and keep pushing the game and we'll be fine. The young pitching was shakey but solid.....plenty of back up.

These GATORS are ready to play.

Yeah, big win today. I really like Tommy Toledo. What an amazing pitcher name and he has a ton of potential. This team could be pretty fun to watch throughout the year.

Well the Gators are 6-2 so far... they are leaps and bounds above where they were last year. Things are looking good.

GATORS played a wet game last night, but still managed a bunch of runs. I like how Sully is getting some pitching work out of our "non-conference" starters and resting the others as much as possible.

With the 5 games / week schedule, pitching rotation is a major chess match.

Bats were a plenty last night and no errors.......that's a good combination for a "W".

This team is much deeper all around than last years and players are executing much better, like hitting to the opposite field and base running.

Fun to watch:gator:
