ANTWINE NOMINATED FOR COURAGE AWARD
GAINESVILLE - The biggest comeback story in the Florida football program is being recognized. Defensive tackle Brandon Antwine has been nominated for the 2008 FedEx Orange Bowl Courage Award.


The redshirt sophomore is seeing regular playing time in the Gators' rotation after many believed he would never play football again.
Antwine spent time in the hospital in October 2007 and has battled kidney failure and a major breakdown in his lower-back muscles. He spent weeks in a wheelchair before having to relearn how to walk.
The winner of the award will be announced in December.
