"Junior punt returner Brandon James is recovering from a Monday surgery that repaired a fractured metatarsal bone in his right foot, the school announced today. James will use crutches for 6-to-8 weeks and should return to the team with no long-term problems after undergoing the surgery at Shands Florida Surgical Center.
James, a junior, will miss the spring football season that begins March 25, but he's enough of a seasoned veteran to deal with the missed time."
