Florida Gator QB transfers to Blinn College

Newton will vie for the Bucs’ starting quarterback position being vacated by All-American Terrance Cain who has transferred to the University of Utah.
“This tremendously talented young man sincerely wants a chance to do well,” Franchione said. “We are excited about his future at Blinn and intend to give him every opportunity to succeed in school, athletics, and life.”

ya i was looking forward to him and future qb prospects battling it out for playing time once tebow was gone oh well, hopefully we pick up a good or better qb prospect over time
