Future of John Brantley?

1. Andrew Luck
2. Landry Jones
3. Matt Barkley
4. Ryan Tannerhill
5. Kirk Cousins
6. Russel Wilson
7. John Brantley

Wilson is under 6ft, throw him out of there. I would drop Tannehill behind Cousins. Nick Foles should be somewhere up there. And don't forget Brandon Weeden of Oklahoma State. He is good, but he is also 27 years old, and I don't know how the NFL teams will respond to his age.

Yea like i said this was my list the start of the season.. Now my list totally changed. Wilson will stay on my list because he wins the respect on the field and off it. Look at his split performances from Nc State and his games at Wisconsin. Nick Foles is in my top 10. And Brandon Weeten being 27years old should not be an issue look at the right guard from Baylor of this years 2011 draft he was 26years old and was a first round pick

What about the guy from Houston? Also Moore from Boise is 6 foot or shorter I doubt he'll get looked at (hint: Chris Leak) though if the scouts are looking at him higher than Brantley and others taller than he's doing something right. RG3 is a beast.

Case Keenem from Houston is actually on my top ten also and throughout last year and this year prior he had a remarkable season throwing the ball. And Moore will be in there aswell i just haven't switched around my list of quartbacks just yet. By the way i know that Kellen will get looked at because of his win perecentage at Boise and his records he put up there, Also he was in the Heisman race last year and he's on it this year as well. Once the scouts check out his pro day, private workouts and workout throwing the ball doing all sorts of drills, he will be one of the nations top QB's coming out of this years draft, You can count on it

16. John Brantley (Some sources only rank the top 15, so JB4 does not even show up on everyone's list.)

Yeah. Nobody else ranks JB4 in the top 15. Last year, the NFL drafted 12 QBs, and only 3 of them look to be getting significant playing time this year, and only a couple more may see the football field anytime soon. Maybe JB4 is going to have to settle with Canadian Football, or really have a breakout game against the remainder of our opposition.

I'm booing you from up here... :p

Ok, think about this when your scouting a player, lets talk about the position of quarterback (hint im not a scout just yet but here's things you need to also think about) you look for how the player reacts to defensive pressure, how well he can take a hit, his build, arm strength, how well he makes his decisions, his ways of hitting his check downs.. I mean when you talk about these players Kellen Moore and Case Keenum over the span of their college careers these men had phenominal college careers. Just by overseeing there numbers you can tell they will get looked at. But when we discuss the height issue think about Michael Vick, Tyrod Taylor these guys aren't over the average prototype style quarterback but Michael Vick is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL and tyrod give him two to three years and he'll be spillting time with Joe Flacco, unless he gets traded to a team you wants him to be their starter

4000 is kinda low up here... :p A talented QB is usually on pace for 5000.
I'm with E- on this: I would have no problem, in fact would get a KICK out of seeing JB IV continuing his career, at least getting a chance to show himself, the NFL and the world "what he's got" with a stint in the CFL (we just finally picked up Versus (VS) on our T/W System, so I'd even get to see it).
One thing, though: do y'all think maybe JB is showing some fragility in that not-so-imposing body of his? The injury he sustained yesterday looked to be not a re-injury of his leg but some kind of damage to his throwing hand/elbow/arm...
(BTW: How you doin', Bra? Join us on game day, if you get the chance...God knows we all need mutual emotional support, at least this season--even when we win! ...And what's with "Nickleback" for that "NHL Returns to Winnepeg"-game?!!)

I'm good. Just had a baby. Future starting TE for the Florida Gators, I'm telling you.
I'd love to join you all on game day, but I don't ever get to see the games on game day. See, if they're not ranked #1 or #2, CBS doesn't show them and no one else will. I also can't always dedicate the Saturday afternoon to watching anything online (even assuming the site will play them - lots won't because I'm apparently not allowed to watch games if I'm not in the States...). Still, I'm with you in spirit, and watch the games when I get them from the gatorvault. By then, though, there's not much more to say.

WinnIpeg... :p Lots of people don't like Nickleback. Lots of people do. Me, I don't care either way. They're one of the more successful bands from Canada, and they aren't likely to be inappropriate. They'll play their hits, people will like/hate them, but most people would say they add to the experience because of their "big name" status.

They're also playing the halftime show at the Grey Cup. Should be better than a few years ago when they had the Black Eyed Peas... that was just lewd.

(laughing) Uh, GOOD REASON, there, FG! Congrats!
Forgot about that whole "border-thing"--but for future reference, I'm going to do some research into whether one of these "One-Time-Payment"-TV-sites might be available for y'all: it's too late in a season that has been all-too-frustrating to pay extra for the "privilege" of guaranteeing your right to see it first hand, but there ARE several that brag about worldwide-access (they make a big deal about this, displaying flags of dozens of countries where you can supposedly link to them from) to virtually ANY NCAA and NFL game (not to mention a slew of other sports worldwide, PLUS American, Canadian, British, Japanese and numerous other nations' TV and cinematic offerings)...in the meantime, if you are ever just kicking it at home on a Sat. aft/eve these last few weeks of THIS season, you can always get the RUF-streaming online live-feed (beginning 2 hrs. before kick-off from Gainesville with pre-game, then from the pressbox at the Swamp for home games and the visitor's box for away ones)--that and the Yahoo GameTracker should keep you "in it", and they'll run invisibly behind what have amounted to our usual exercises in masochism here at the ENVY on Game Days the last month or so of the season...I know you folks were way ahead of us back about 10 years ago as far as cell phone access, charges and nationwide coverage (part of the philosophy of knitting together a relatively spread-out population across a vast geographical area, from what I gather); by now down here I pay an extra $9.99 on my SPRINT Unlimited 4G Smartphone access to get all the Gator games to my phone: nothing like that up there?...and one more thing to look into: I know y'all have TSN instead of ESPN on your cable systems, but can you get access to ESPN.com? If so, see about joining "Insider" as a Gator, but make sure that if you do it from Canada you still get access to ESPN3D.com--which often carries games none of the major broadcast or large cable sports networks are carrying (you also get the ESPN magazine and inside recruiting updates and information for your chosen team(s), so it's not a bad deal--provided you get the all-important TV access--they'll even give you a 1 month trial free, so you can wait 'til say next fall when you can't get a Gator game on CBS--it may well be another year after THAT before we'll be back up to "Prime Time Status", let's face it).
As for Nickelback, I "get" the "famous/popular/non-offensive"-concept, and that's fine I guess for the Grey Cup--but I don't really understand "The Dept. of Redundancy Dept."-approach of having them there in Winnipeg too (sorry for the misspell before)--I KNOW there's gotta be a well-liked and known performer or band from your town (even if it's someone who CAME from there but doesn't live there anymore) who they might have called on for the occasion...failing that, I mean, there are so MANY great performers who happen to be Canadians--or am I that far off base here?

No Jacory Harris? He's 6'4" and he has a lot of experience. Though he's been inconsistent and decision making questionable on and off the field though I pick him over Brantley.

Jacory Harris!? We should start a new thread for this discussion. He is not mentioned much. I guess he would rank higher than JB.

If John doesnt get picked up in the draft, personally he will be an unsigned free agent and be signed onto the practice squad. If john gets cut from any team in the league then the CFL will be his best chance to be a successful quarterback.

I know nothing of Jacory other than the fact that I think he is a choke artist. The NFL deserves losers like him.
