Gameday Week 11: Gators at Gamecocks

This is our team... No wonder Steve Spurrier did not want to watch this game.
This "drive" displays all the hope AND frustration we feel about our offense. In fact, that run by Treon coupla plays back sums of HIS whole deal: He has athletic skills--but they don't quite make up for his liabilities--and he just isn't getting much better, hasn't really seemed to learn or improve since last year.

We can't even run out the clock without a penalty
If we stopped shooting ourselves in the foot, we might start to benefit from having controlled the clock thru 3 qrtrs, wearing em down.
Penalties still a thing here.
Bad read by the QB, calling the runner to the rush side instead of the slant side.

Treon HAS to get us out of that play. But Dru is right, Treon has learned nothing since last year.
Goin' for it, of course...poor choice of plays, imo. That was place for quick slant. And if we'd had a kicker, and/or a decent qb, well, thats the whole picture, isn't it? With BOTH of those, we'd likely be heading for glory. As it is, we're hanging on to HOPE by our fingernails.
Guessing he didn't want the cameras to catch him napping. Heck I took a nap during the game. Also terrible call with the sweep.
I saw that flanker screen coming. Pharoh Cooper is a better QB than Perry Orth.

Why is it that we bite on every trick play the other team runs?

Especially THAT play! The play that SC has run about 10,000 times this year!
Someone should have picked up on Orth other than Sherritt.
Had a feeling sometging like that was coming. You can't let an SEC team hang around when ya got the em down...ESPECIALLY one that sees itself as a "2nd half team", in their iwn place, no less. We're in a fight now--and I don't know if this Treon-"led" offense will score again--not on a day they have trouble running, so are relying on his ARM. YIKES.

Without the sack that Treon takes, we have a first down.
It appears that the Gators sent in the scout team offensive line for some reason.
