Hey I am looking to get Jerseys for as Many Gator Quarterbacks as I can I am having a little bit of trouble coming up with a list of as many as possible

#15 Tebow 2007 - present
#12 Leak 2003 - 2006
#08 Grossman RS1999 2000-2003
#07 Jesse Palmer 1998-2000???
#12 Doug Johnson 1996-1999


I am trying to get a Danny Wuerfuel Jersey as of right now and would love a "Coach" Steve Spurrier Jersey Eventually but how far back can we go?

Shane Matthews - #9 - 1990-1993 approx
Kerwin Bell - #12 I think - 1984-1987
Steve Spurrier - #11 - 1963-1966

There are lots more obviously but those are a few off the top of my head.

The problem is you aren't going to be able to find jerseys for many. As far as I know the only jerseys they have actually made for players are:

#15 for Tebow
#11 for Spurrier
#8 for Grossman (maybe, not sure if they made this or not)
#7 for Danny
#22 for Emmitt
#81 for Collinsworth
There might be one or two more, but that is all I know of
Plus there are the generic #1 and #96 jerseys they make.

I have a Grossman and Found a Leak on Ebay but that is about it... I am going to continue to look and see what i can find...

UF needs to lift the 'ban' or whatever you want to call it on people making custom jerseys, stupid they lose out on money.
I believe the only ones you can buy are #1, #15, #11, #8.
If your favorite player is John Doe #99 than why not be able to order & wear his uni?

Wayne Peace was before Bell I think in 1981-1983 number 15
John Reaves 1969-1971 number 7
Don Gaffney (Jabar's uncle) was number 8 in the mid-1970's

Actually Tebow is 2006-present and Dean was the starter in the beginning of the 1994 before he sucked at the Auburn game.

Actually Matthews was 1989-1992 and Spurrier was 1964-1966 (back when freshmen weren't allow to play). You're right about Bell.

Why don't you just look up the hitorical roster on gatorzone.com? It wold be so much easier than what you're doing now. They also break down every player by number to ever play for Florida.

Not a cheap solution but I recall some of us starting a drinking club back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, i.e. 1971 and buying generic jerseys up in Gainesville. Seems to me one could acquire the numbers needed and "make" the jersey one wants, whether the University approves or not.
