Oh yeah, Randy the Whiner - the one who had a cow over our kicking a field goal late in that game and complains that we were "running up the score".

My dream scenario for the BCS:
Title Game:
1-loss UF
1-loss Big 12 Champion
Rose Bowl:
Undefeated Penn State (Big 10 Champ)
1-loss Southern Cal (Pac 10 Champ)
This isn't UF's dream matchup, but if this happens, it will be the biggest nightmare of the Big 10 and Pac 10. Those two conferences are the reason we don't have a playoff, because they can't live without the Rose Bowl and its Big 10 champ-Pac 10 champ matchup.
But if this scenario happens, it would put those conferences into a tough position. They can't complain, since they got their Rose Bowl matchup and THEY are the conferences that LOVE the Rose Bowl and don't want it devalued. But their fans will be mad at them, so they'll have to answer to their fans.
Either way, it might be the strongest call yet to force some kind of a playoff.

Thanks in part to the Big Ten and Pac-10, we haven't seen a playoff since they don't want anybody tampering with "the granddaddy of them all". It's time for the emphasis on money and commercialism to stop; the NCAA needs to do what's right for the players, the teams and the integrity of the sport - and that only means setting up a playoff system in Division 1 FBS.
