We MAY be in good shape at QB--but we've said that repeatedly over the post-TT years with more actual data than we have now--and been pretty well wrong every time!
This really IS a wait'n'see deal, no doubt our SEASON hanging on the verdict.
Sure wish we had those w "top new WRs" in the line-up, the QB needs to build confidence and chemistry in pursuit of a stretch-the-field threat (something we haven't had SINCE #15, lets face it). Shouldn't NEED em to come out ahead, but comfort and game-reps in the long-passing game mean as much or more than elsewhere on the field. And you have to SHOW there IS a "threat" to draw benefit from it elsewhere in your play-calling, right? SO tired of defenses being able to virtually ignore the deep ball, as came to be the case more n more last few seasons.
