Meet two of the new coaches...assuming the rumors are true

"Cheeseburger Charlie" Weis is...Wanted, Dead or Alive (with Bon Jovi and Bill Belichik)!

Aubrey Hill helps seal UF's first official SEC championship. There really is not a lot of footage on the guy, and he had to fight for headline coverage with a lot of good receivers--#84 Harrison Houston (from my hometown of Pensacola, FL), #22 Willie Jackson, #33 RB Errict Rhett, #1 Jack Jackson, #28 Chris Doering, etc.

Both are excellent hires. Weis' name speaks for itself. But Hill is a great steal because he can recruit South Florida with the best of them. He's a great WR coach as well.

I really did look for video coverage of Drayton and Durkin, but it was hard enough to find something on Aubrey Hill. I am please enough with these two hire and two retentions.

We need a good O line hire. It's going to be a very young and inexperienced crew for the next couple of years. Need somebody to push a fast learning curve.

This just in: Steve Addazio is going to turn down the Temple HC job and stay on as the Florida OL coach.

Just kidding.

EDIT: I read a rumor that Matt Moore of Texas Tech will be the OL coach. I do not have any reliable sources to cite, so take it for what it is worth.

What's the latest on the Defensive Coordinator-job? The "buzz" seems to be that Kirby won't be taking the job. I know our Head Coach is more than capable, but I'd like to see him with a close, like-minded DC to concentrate on the nuts and bolts of carrying out the defensive gameplan (and you KNOW there'll be one for every game now), while the Head Coach manages the team, the game, AND oversees the flow of that "gameplan" and the emotional state of his players, as a good Head Coach does.
Otherwise we are so far looking strong indeed as far as the staff is concerned.

I have heard absolutely nothing in terms of reliable buzz on the DC position. I was hoping MusCHOMP would retain Teryl Austin or Chuck Heater and MusCHOMP would interject on defense as necessary. Maybe the new ball coach has a better idea. I assume so, since he gets paid $2M/year more than I do to make these decisions.

Like to see Austin and Heater stay though I think Muschamp wants his style of defense.
