Granted I know he did let the Gators to a Championship two years ago but he needs to work on his decisions. Last season against Auburn and LSU. 1. Auburn: tied game Florida has the ball and they went three and out on three plays that were big mistakes and Auburn got the ball and won. 2. LSU, he waited 29 seconds to call timeout before LSU scored. Those 29 seconds could have gave the Gators a victory (and deny Lame State a championship). Also the last play of the game, he should have known that Ole Miss was expected Tebow to run the ball. He should have Moody, Rainey, Brandon or Rick James, or get Emmitt Smith to run the ball. Kick the field goal Or that jump pass to Aaron Hernandez anything. :hammer:

Urban Meyer just refuses to believe what we've all known for some time, which is that teams have adjusted to our offense and know how to stop us.
As head coach, he should be able to adjust to keep the opponent guessing, instead of running the same gameplan every game with no changes at all.

I know but losing to Ole Miss, Really? I rather the Gators lose a number of teams than Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is very close to being 5-0 and ranked in the top 25. They squandered a lead against Vandy and still almost won even with 6 turnovers in that game. They also lost at Wake by 2 on a last second field goal. I think we got beat by a good team and we just killed ourselves with errant fumbles.

I don't fault him at all for that Tebow run on fourth down. Honestly, do you expect anyone to stop Tebow on a fourth and one? It was the right call, they just stopped us. Like Tebow said in his post game, the Gators always feel like they can convert fourth and one. Handing the ball off would have just allowed Ole Miss to gain more penetration. We have a FULLBACK at QB, he should ALWAYS get the ball on those types of plays.
Plus, Moody was hurt and Rainey was stopped on all his runs. No one else was a legitimate decision for the run.

Agreed; given those circumstances Tebow was caught between a rock and a hard place.
Add to that the fact that Rainey has a tendency, based on what I've seen ,to run east-to-west too often. That needs to be worked on in practice.
