I put in my two cents, if you happened to read some of the comments.
Bianchi can write some insightful articles at times, but on the other hand he writes some silly, asinine shlock. He might have gotten a kick out of writing something stupid like that, but his intent was solely to piss off Gator Nation at a time when spirit is high - and to egg on the bickering between the most die-hard of Spurrier-worshippers in our fanbase (as far as I'm concerned, if any Gator is more for SOS than this team, they ought to jump off our bandwagon) and those who are behind Coach Meyer all the way.
Based on all that, you'd never know he was a UF alum who used to write for the Gainesville Sun.
However, I take it all with a grain of salt; IMHO the "Slantinel", as we sometimes call it, seems to be more slanted toward Saint Booby and that clown college out west besides UCF, and except for the two Gator blog writers doesn't offer UF credit where credit is due often enough.
