THROW THE :censored: BALL DOWNFIELD. You have a quarterback to do that USE HIM. I'm :censored: tried of seeing this dink and dunk passing. I admit I started being a Gators fan during the Spurrier days but Leak and Tebow threw downfield under Meyer and yet he can't trust Brantley who can throw downfield to pass more than five yards?

They need to tell that poor kid to leave. If I were him I would break a couple of fingers on my left hand apply for a medical red shirt and transfer to another school. He does not belong here. He has sat the bench for 3 years and has managed to learn absolutely nothing. He belongs on the scout team.

Time to (painfully, I'll grant you) begin considering actually HOPING for Gator losses the rest of the way--the more embarrassing, humiliating the better? May be the only way to effect the changes we all seem to be forming a consensus is necessary for the long term good of the program.
(To be honest, I don't really know if I can manage it, even if I can see it may be the only way it can happen--and I AM convinced that it will be MUCH better for our program for the changes we favor to happen, and soon... the sooner the better.)

My spirit has been broken. 6-6 ain't bad. **** trying to beat Appalachia or SOW. Not with Brantley under center. I don't want that clown getting any credit for bringing us back to 0.500. I want him to look so bad against Appalachia and SOW that there is no 'effing way he would be considered as the starter on any 'effing football team anywhere else on Earth. Or Mars. I'm fed up with defending that kid. <Insert my usual rant about Addazio, and add in my revisited rant about Meyer here.>

I admit to not seeing the 2nd half (I turned it off so i wouldn't be frustrated) but what did he do in the 2nd half to make you quit on him? He's hurt (see the bad under throw on the TD throw to Rainey last week or missing high consistently), he's seeing ghost (every body would if you've been hit/sacked that man times, i think that vaunted Vandy D got him 4 times), and has no confidence or rhythm (One example from the 1st half: being brought in after two failed dives by Reed and being expected to be able to convert 3rd and long is a bit much).

90% of his passes were waaaaay off mark. The other 10% were catchable, but into coverage or just plain dropped (Brick Hands Deonte Thompson).

This strikes me as a lot like saying of the criminal with the sad back-story of abuse and childhood violence:
"It's not his fault. He's a victim of society!"
At a certain point, it doesn't matter, from a practical P.O.V.: he's a bad GUY.
...So when folks say, "It's not JB's fault. He's a victim of a bad system!", well, you get my point...

Exactly! (BTW, I'd love to see what Carl could do with a properly-thrown fade route...like "money in the bank", I'm thinking...)
