Checking back.
Still true:
"We should have WON this game!"
Look at the stats: Once again, we had every opportunity. Yes, it has been a classic "Home called game", but still: I maintain a decent Head Coach finds ways to WIN these kind of otherwise "close ones".
The more I surrender to the overwhelming frustration, squarely face the REALITY of the evidence, it becomes more and more inescapable: We are on the road to more and more losses.
Even NOW we have the time and talent here to pull this one out...but we won't.
The very real "certainty" I feel is precisely why I am now at this sunken emotional point.
Do ANY OF YOU feel something different, anything akin to, oh, I dunno...HOPE?
Never mind "confidence"...we all lost THAT quite some time ago. But maybe we ought to deserve some small spark of hope?
Deep down I still WANT to...nd I HATE myself having to admit that. The rest of me screams "CUT IT OUT!!!"--It only sets me up for more disappointment and frustration.
I feel stupid for inflicting it upon myself again.
This is what being a Gator fan has been reduced to. Is that fair?
