I hope to see 500 yards of offense from AR before he turns over the keys to Kitna.
I wonder how long Billy stays with AR in 2nd half, given his banged up ankle. He doesn't really need much more work...what WE need from the offense from here is maybe another quarter of it not getting any closer...But EW has the time of possession advantage, believe it or not.
Let's see the running game and some ball control.

Avery Helm gets beaten on press coverage, but EWU receiver has butterfingers.

Yeah. Poor choice by AR, but a missed pass interference call there, for sure.
We are still not playing SMART.

I'm not saying it is intentional--but THEY seem to be running out the clock FOR us.

How about we try doing it OURSELVES?
If Anthony can't or won't, bring Kitna back in and have him run the ground game...We have the personnel for it.

Looking okay against an overmatched team, but it is hard to imagine this working against the SEC gauntlet.

Kitna’s first TD as a Gator. Also first for Caleb Douglas.

I definitely agree.
A more determined application of the running game is in order...at the very least, we need to get the basic execution of our blocking schemes and our runners need to drive into and THROUGH the defenders.
Meanwhile, thus game has gotten messy.

I always thought we might have something in Kitna...He's a big kid, and his Dad was a solid NFL QB, so the genes are there. He's a student of the game, so at LEAST a reliable back-up...I think the Ohio St kid is still the prospective starter once AR leaves (assuming he still does after this season), but who knows?

ANOTHER case of a runner not driving aggressively forward at the point of attack earlier kept us from the first on 4th down.
But then we turn THEM away.
Lindgard finally getting some playing time.
End of 3rd.
We are the Boys...
WON'T BACK DOWN.
