keep on the brightside, still got cooper and david nelson they finally can show what there made of, and then we got debose coming in who imo will replace murphy not really harvin at first maybe replace him after i see what he got. then we got nukeese richardson coming in and maybe reubeun randle. who knows I think next years receivers core will be like this years secondary to us there young and underrated and can show the whole world what there made of. . .we are going to have way too much talent than we can handle next year, harvin was just ready for nfl and we're still going undefeated next year or at least 13-1 again!
Exactly. Even though Percy's turning pro, we still have returners at WR such as David Nelson, Deonte Thompson, Riley Cooper and Carl Moore as a base, PLUS redshirts likely to be active and incoming recruits (I have high hopes for Andre Dubose) for 2009.
As much as I'll miss Percy, one thing I'm grateful for is that this time around the attrition wasn't as severe as it was after 2006; I attribute a LOT of that to Coach Meyer emphasizing dedication to the Gator football program when they sign their LOI's and players completimg their degrees over heading to the pros prematurely.
Lou Holtz once said jokingly that NFL stood for "not for long"; he was referring to coaches when he said that but it also applies to players as well. Only the "cream of the crop" enjoys success in the league, and many don't make it - thus Meyer stressing the importance of getting an education to these kids - and I do hope Percy will plan to eventually get his degree.
