QB Austin Simmons commits to Florida

Give Napier and his staff credit for somehow continuing to "bounce back" in the face of all manner of recruiting setbacks in the QB room.
In fact, while it's been a bit of a wild if confusing ride: This program has continually, collectively and ultimately "landed on its feet" in that regard. It continues to bode well for the future over all.

The 2024 class continues to see the staff aggressively pursuing top talent from in and out of state. In addition to some really strong ones already committed, a number of elite prospects will be coming for visits this week: RB, WR on offense, CB and more on defense, if we can convert here this could well turn out the "turning point" class we have all been waiting, hoping for.
And remember--in most cases, we'd not only be adding promising strength to OUR future program, but directly denying our regional rivals of their own specific targets.
