QB Jordan Reed uses visit to learn, get comfortable

It was hard to tear Jordan Reed away from Gainesville Sunday.
The New London, Conn., quarterback was in town for the weekend on his only official visit of the year and the 70-degree weather had Reed reaffirming his strong commitment to Florida.
“I love it,” the Rivals.com four-star prospect said of his time in Gainesville. “It’s hard coming back to Connecticut, especially when there’s snow everywhere.”

While Reed slept at the Hilton across from UF, he spent most of his time hanging out with his hosts, offensive linemen Mike and Maurkice Pouncey. Reed said the three had a “blast” and passed time sitting around telling jokes and talking about his future with the Gators.
“It was cool, they were good guys,” Reed said. “Funny guys.”
Reed said he also look the opportunity to break down film with his future quarterback coach Scot Loeffler. The two have spent plenty of time together since Loeffler was hired on Jan. 6. Reed said Loeffler has made a few trips to New London for in-home visits.
But Reed’s time in Gainesville wasn’t all about studying. He also got the chance to get to know a few of his future classmates as well. One with whom he connected with the best was Sanford, Fla., Seminole receiver Andre Debose. Reed said the two got a long well and he “definitely” looks forward to throwing a few passes to Debose in the coming months.
Sounds good to me!
