Ricky Pearsall on track for 1,000-yard season

The last 1,000-yard receiver at Florida was Taylor Jacobs in 2002. Chad Jackson reached 900 yards in 2005, with a 29-yard and 21-yard output at LSU and Georgia hurting his season totals. Kyle Pitts was on schedule for 1150 yards in the shortened pandemic year of 2020, but finished with 770 yards in 8 games. Kadarius Toney had 984 yards in 11 games and could have broken 1,000 yards if not for an injury in the regular season or sitting out the bowl game.

Ricky Pearsall is currently ranked 16th nationally with 619 yards heading into his 8th game. If he can average 76.1 yards per game through week 12 he will hit that mark of 1,000 yards. His current average is 88.4 yards per game with the heart of the schedule coming up.

Surprising since they had good receivers like Percy Harvin who was 142 yards shy of 1,000 Receiving yards and the guys you listed. Good luck to Pearsall. He'll have a good chance with Mertz throwing the rock.
