The others not listed feel the same way Stokes does and are going to wait. Does anyone know if we were after any of these guys?

Stokes Will Play the Waiting Game
Philadelphia, Pa., product Je’Ron Stokes took great pride in the fact that he was Head Coach Philip Fulmer’s first high school verbal commitment for the Class of 2009 and now that the coach is gone, Stokes obviously isn’t very happy about the situation. His worry was more for Coach Fulmer then himself.

Hollins Still A Vol Commit
Despite the news that Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer was stepping down at the end of the year, College of the Canyons (Calif.) defensive end Jonathan Hollins said he remains a commit to the Vols

Dominque Allen Thinking De-Commitment
Dominque Allen, three-star defensive end from Paris-Henry County, Tenn., is listed as a soft verbal commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers. The recent news of coach Phillip Fulmer may or may not help the situation.

Phillips to Wait and See
Aubrey Phillips has known for some time that he wanted to be a Tennessee Volunteer. With Coach Phillip Fulmer stepping aside at season's end, the talented offensive lineman is unsure about his future.

Boyd Talks Commitment, Future
This week Tennessee grabbed a commitment from a five-star prospect in Tajh Boyd and with Philip Fulmer announcing that he will step down after this season today that obviously created a very odd situation for the Hampton, Va., signal caller. He will be staying with Tennessee going forward.

Thigpen Not Going Anywhere
Four-star running back Damien Thigpen learned about the loss of Tennessee Volunteer Head Coach Philip Fulmer at his school today, however that will not sway the Manassas, Va., product from the verbal commitment he gave earlier this season.

Depending on who Tennessee hires to replace Fulmer, this may be the final deciding factor for those recruits who've made committments to-date.

(Keep in mind, though, that until National Signing Day these are only "verbals" and aren't binding.)

Still, the Fulmer firing will have an effect on their incoming class just as our firing Ron Zook did in 2004; however, Urban Meyer was able to recruit a respectable, albeit small, incoming Class of 2005 that kept us in the top-25 that year. It'll be up to whoever comes in to try and salvage their recruiting efforts for their 2009 class.

yes o-town is right, they may say they are going to stay with the vols right now but it all depends on who they bring in as a head coach if the young men will stay as commitments i think many of them will leave and go else where just because the man that wanted them there is now gone. but i wish them the best of luck. Go Gators.
