After going 9-4 last season with some disappointing losses, I see this team heading into spring practice with a new attitude. There'll be some new faces in the crowd with new players and coaches. Should be more challenging too, especially the contest Coach Meyer set up with a full scholly going to anybody who can beat Percy Harvin in the 40.
One thing I'm really happy about is that except for that minor issue involving Torrey Davis, so far our kids have stayed out of trouble post-season compared to other teams in the SEC. After some of the episodes in 2007 Meyer seems to have tightened the leash back up again - if he dares to let down his guard we have disciplinary problems, and that can't be an issue if we want to get back to the big time again in 2008.
Am looking forward to seeing our guys on the field again -
