Steve Spurrier Jr to do the play calling

The OBC is one of the best offensive play callers in the game. Why is he passing the torch on to his son.

Spurrier is an offensive genius and can read defenses like it's nobody's business. He was masterful against LSU last season.

I don't get it either, although that quote seems to indicate Spurrier Sr. has veto power.

Sounds like Spurrier will have more control over the offense than Charlie Weis will at Notre Dame.

Maybe he's grooming his son to take over in another 2-3 years? This could mean the end of the OBC on the sidelines.
