Talent-Rich Florida Ties Add Flavor to Super Bowl

In all, 15 players who were either born in the Sunshine State or played at one of the Big Three - Florida, Florida State or Miami - are on the rosters of the AFC champion Steelers and NFC champion Arizona Cardinals.
Arizona receiver Anquan Boldin is one of five former Florida State stars in the game. Cardinals running back Edgerrin James, from nearby Immokalee, is one of two who played at Miami. Offensive lineman Max Starks is one of two Steelers who played for the Florida Gators, who have won two of the past three national championships.
