Tebow up for an ESPY

University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow (Jacksonville, Fla.) was recognized by ESPN on Tuesday, receiving an ESPY nomination for Best Male College Athlete. The award show will be held at the new NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on July 16 and will air on ESPN on July 20 at 9 p.m. ET.

Tebow should win easily, on name recognition alone. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins 85+% of the International votes.

I voted for Tebow also, and as far as I'm concerned he deserves everything he's awarded. I only wish we had more guys on our team with the degree of character he has.

That's what I was thinking. He beats out Beasley. Tebow has one thing the other don't have, or not to his extent: Name Recognition. Everyone know who Tebow is.
