Tim in the Post Game Press Conference

Did you see the post game press conference? I missed most of Coach Meyer, but I caught Tim's part.
He ended his questions with an apology to the Gator Nation and Gator fans. He said he'd planned on a perfect season, and apologized for letting us down. He said we'll never see anyone play his hardest than him from here on out, and we'll never see any team work to be the best more than this team ... I can't exactly quote, but it was really moving. He ended with a quick "God bless" and walked away from the podium... I bet he went on to be alone. I don't know if Tim cries, but he looked like he was fighting it off!

I'm just as sad and upset and disappointed as any Gator fan, but I think Timmy feels it more than any of us!

Well im pissed as eveybody else, idk who's doing the play calling,im guessing mullen, but we need to go back to the board and get it fixed quick. We looked like florida state today,no heart, but maybe this is a good thing,we lost this early, maybe this will wake some people up and fire some players up,we can still run the table and probably make it to the national championship. This may be a blessing in disguise, hopefully it fires all our guys up especially tebow, because ive seen graveyards with more excitement than we had today!Watching today made me feel like i did in the zook era.

Here's the quote:

"To the fans and everybody, I'm sorry. I'm extremely sorry. We were hoping for an undefeated season. That was my goal, something Florida's never done here. But I promise you one thing: a lot of good will come out of this. You have never seen any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of this season and you'll never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of this season and you'll never see a team play harder than we will the rest of this season. God bless."

I'm glad that Tebow is taking responsibility, even though some of it wasn't his fault. I'm even more glad to have him at UF.

What I'm not glad about is that the coaches are unable to man up and apologize and admit they messed up big time in this game.

Yeah, my son says the coaches were completely off key. They called all the wrong plays and tried to use our best players in the wrong kind of ways. That screwed up the game for us. And they hold Tebow back, so he couldn't play the way he wanted to.

The coaches get made easy scapegoats any time we lose a game. They can't bear the brunt of the loss - our players need to shoulder a LOT of it for making the mistakes that they did.

Well most of us including me thought this year was the best chance for the Gators (well it still is) because We don't know if Tebow, Harvin, and Spikes will stay one more year.
