Florida was expected to be a top 5 team, so he may not get this award. Guys like Saban and Whittingham did a lot with less talent.

Yes, I wanted saben to get it more than anyone. I did like the ole texas tech coach but the way he has been crying about his QB has kinda move me the other way. So bama's coach got it and he should have.

I didn't even think of him but I still go with saben man he took bama from being laughed at here lately to an undefeated regular season until the sec title game. They was not even post to contend until next year. I believe if nutt can pull another good season off next year he'll win it then but 8-4 is good but not great like bama.

Well think about the talent level of Ole Miss vs Alabama... lol Ole Miss recruiting class are as talked about the Lions winning... lol.. While Bama' works for their recruits so they dont wind up at Auburn or somewhere else... If you switch coaching roles between Saban and Nutt, the Alabama players would win 98 out of 100 times

Believe it or not sneed the QB at Ole miss was urban meyers backup if he could not get tebow so I dont think there is that BIG of a differences no doubt there is one but not as big as people think.

No i know its not that big... Thanks to former Ole Miss coach Oregeron and supposedly his 6 recruiting violations... thats why he bolted to the NFL asap.. but ole miss constantly has a good D, with a star on it, Willis won the LB award 2 year ago, and the RBs are always really good, I heard about Snead. But bama recruits are better overall.

but when it comes to the leader I give that one to Ole miss very easy!!!!! sneed is way better then JPW
I also think The defense may be about the same so your right the little edge go's to bama but not by much

It could turn out to be a 2-way battle for the SEC West between Ole Miss and Alabama, but it's way too early to speculate. LSU and Arkansas need to rebuild, and I don't see Les Miles or Bobby Petrino being complacent with mediocrity.
