What would have made this victory better?

Well two things for me really. 1.Tebow throwing the ball more and possibly getting 200 or more yards. Then again Meyer wanted to establish the run (which they did) and Hawaii's D see passing offense in their conference games. 2. What have been June Jones in the Hawaii sidelines.

I would've liked it to be 56 - 0 (ZERO)! but I guess we needed to let our younger team players get in some practice.
At the game, when I was hollering, my son said, "Mom, relax. We're doing fine". LOL

Considering we played without Harvin, without Spikes, and we didn't show the entire playbook, I'm happy with what I saw (minus the penalties).

When miami comes to town, I hope we improve the run defense, because that is no doubt what miami will try and do.

I was surprised at the number of times Tebow would try to pass the ball, but get flushed out of the pocket. I could understand if we were playing Tennessee, Miami, or something, but I figured he should get more time in the pocket.

Anyone else get the feeling Tebow was a little rusty?

I don't know if I would say rusty. He still completed 60% of his passes and threw no INTs and had no fumbles. I think that while he might have a couple Tebowesque games, we'd better get used to seeing stats like from Saturday from him. We had 4 players with touchdown carries and 1 wasn't Tebow! We'll keep spreading the wealth, just making it that much harder for those SEC defenses to isolate and shut down one or two players. It's going to be a good season.
