Where Are They Now - Dee Webb

I thought it would be fun to post a "Where Are They Now" thread for some players who were very highly recruited out of high school. Maybe they played all 4 years at UF? Maybe they transfered? The point of these threads is that they were big time guys at one point, but now you probably haven't heard their names in a long time.

This is your chance to reflect on their careers.

Where Are They Now - Dee Webb

Dee Webb was a 5-star recruit out of Jacksonville, Florida. Despite his AK-47 incident at UF, he played well enough to get drafted by the Jaguars in the 7th round of the draft. Some experts said he had 1st round talent. I guess they were wrong. After 1 year in the NFL, he was cut by the Jags and is now playing in the Arena League for the Philadelphia Soul.

It' sad what happened with Dee. He did bring everything on himself though. I used to hang out w/ him when I was at UF. Until he got into a fight with another one of my good friends. He was a hot head to say the least.

An example why players should still another year in college. Well he's playing for the Arenabowl. Hey, playing in the AFL isn't nothing to laugh at.

Dee was pretty cool until that whole situation went down. I've been friends with Bubba since high school so of course I think he's a cool guy to hang with. C4 was funny as hell.

On the flip side, Channing Crowder was a straight up a**hole. However, the biggest prick I knew was James Smith. He wasn't even a superstar and he acted like his s**t didn't stink.

No, I never really hung out with Dallas. I heard he was a goofball, in a good way. You'd be surprised about Reche. Reche was pretty funny too. I don't blame C4 for leaving, he already had a big family he had to take care of.

Just read that Dee Webb's Arena team won the Arena Bowl this year, so he did wind up on a championship team (albeit Arena Football). AND, Jon Bon Jovi signs his AFL paycheck.
