nope he cant do option or the shovel pass at all he's just to0 slow and obvious aginst crap teams
Even in the NFL, if the O-line creates the right hole, my grandma can wheel her chair through the line. It would be smart if on occasion they pulled off a QB draw just to keep the spying linebackers honest. Sure, it's ugly when JB runs, but his 40-yard speed is the same as Tebow's. He just needs to run towards the sideline or hook slide.

Have to run him occasionally. Sparingly but occasionally. Just like we have to let Burton throw the ball occasionally. As mentioned above, it keeps the defense honest.
It will be interesting to see how his throwing develops throughout the year. The Leak/Tebow combination worked because Tebow threw on rare occasion, and Leak ran enough to keep the defense guessing. Burton underthrew his lone pass, but he admitted he needs work. Burton may not get a lot of work in next year at QB, so this needs to be his big passing year.

They need to let Burton do the Tebow jump pass against Alabama.
Nothing would be more awesome than to see Burton pull that one off. That does remind me of something. Alabama is going to switch in both of its running backs either alternating or through the wildcat. Maybe we should consider switching in both of our QBs in a similar manner.

burton should just do all the options and shovel passes
who cares if JB gets less snaps i think burton could be real good at that he's got some speed and moves to make em miss

We are barely at the one-third point of the season, so I say give JB a chance. He is the starter, but he may get the hint that he needs to become a playmaker, especially if Demps is still hurt next week.
