Why is Florida State getting so much hype?

The only teams that will put up a fight for FSU is OKL and MIA, well and us depending on well everything haha. So that's why they are ranked so high IMO.
Just shows you how much most of the media's "Me too!"-journalism is worth...they see someone they've heard of with a few decent recruits and a sh*t-ass schedule and they cry, "They're back! Top Ten Team!". Big deal. Let's play it out.
(...And while I KNOW we've got too many questions and unknowns to count on much, let alone get excited and even BEGIN to hope, but how great would it be to take advantage of being underrated, more or less forgotten, to see us personally blow the dreams and assumptions apart as the "surprise team" this year? We don't even need to go undefeated to pull it off; "just" maybe 10 wins, INCLUDING FSU in the Swamp, would do it. It's an opportunity that we'll not get again anytime soon: too strong a coaching staff with too many top-3 recruiting classes on the way. The target will be on OUR backs again by next year. Things would have to fall just right, and you can never count on that, too dangerous to even CARE that much, but still...)

recruiting, they recruited alot of talent in the last 3 classes alot more then any other ACC team

The thing about Muschamp as a recruiter is that he doesn't just get who he wants, generally, but has a real feel for why and how that player will fit on his team. These classes won't just be collections of multi-star-rated kids OTHER people, so-called "experts", think are "the best at their position". These will tend to be eager young GATORS, right from the start.
Out here in Texas, sure, Mack Brown is like the ultimate "used car salesman", scary smooth who as they say down here "can charm the skin off a snake", but it was Coach Boom who could "close the deal" and land those big classes full of top-rated Texas boys wrapped up before SUMMER got here. Mack would prefer to have 'em "committed" and signed while they were still juniors (hell, FRESHMEN), if he could, but now that Chomp's running his own show with us he'll take a little more time and make sure he gets it right. Oh, I like where we're heading...
