If Urban takes the job he will just be looked at as garbage by UF and the rest of the SEC. Hopefully it isn't true and we don't lose coaches.
But hey, let him ruin that program by only recruiting speed.
Power running game is key. And it starts with the o-line, but do you wonder why LSU has been so good this year? look at their RB's. They've got a few, and all of the are stacked. Each one of their RB's trumps ours.
Looking at their roster (Copeland is their beast FB):
44 J.C. Copeland FB 6-1...
A lot of QB's who are still learning the game are better when they are rolling out. Mark Sanchez is that way too. But I feel like coaches are afraid to let their QB's roll out multiple times in a possession. College level too.
Oh, and Will Yeguete took an elbow to the eye vs. OSU. He came back in that game, but sat out of the UNF game because he showed concussion type symptoms.
We were outplayed again this year by OSU. I did see some things I liked though. Young looked good against what may be the best player in the NCAA. Our guards were fearless as usual. But I think we have to look at the free throws. We missed a lot, they made a lot.
Gators got the 91-55 win...
So we play at Ohio State today (8pm EST on ESPN2). Our first big game of the year. OSU is ranked #3 and Florida at #8.
I think we have the best backcourt in the country. But our frontcourt is thin. If we want to win this game and have a good season, Billy D needs to manage his rotation very...
I think it is really important that we either beat USC or FSU. If we lose to both we will finish .500, but with a win against at least one of those opponents we finish over .500 and have the satisfaction of beating another decent team.
I'm pretty sure basketball is opening up against Jackson State, not Jacksonville. And we wore new uniforms in our exhibition match. I hope we don't use them, I don't like them as much as the ones we used last year.
Yup, Tebow needs a team that will work with him. And it's pretty evident that Tebow needs to speed up is motions & reading skills. The ball needs to be out quicker. And that will be accomplished if Denver keeps him in the rest of he season, then goes through an uninterrupted pre-season with him...
way too much for me to catch up on. I starting reading, got through a few posts, but barely made a dent. So I will respond to what the first few posts were talking about. Sorry if the subject has changed already.
Okay, so I have been thinking this for a while, and I'm pretty sure I've said it...
I always kinda liked Chad Pennington. I suggest you guys read this article he wrote about Tebow. It points out some of the things we talk about that the guys on TV ignore. It has an overall positive attitude about TT which can be hard to find. A lot of guys are too scared to go out on a limb...
Yeah he is gonna get eaten up this week. Vanden Bosh and Suh are too much for Denver's o-line to handle. But of course everyone will just forget that and just point out everything Tebow did wrong.
Wilson is under 6ft, throw him out of there. I would drop Tannehill behind Cousins. Nick Foles should be somewhere up there. And don't forget Brandon Weeden of Oklahoma State. He is good, but he is also 27 years old, and I don't know how the NFL teams will respond to his age.
Christian is a beast, we are going to miss him. As for Clark, he didn't play much now, but he had some potential to play later in his career. But Muschamp is (hopefully) moving away from the small fast guys like Clark and trying to get some size and strength.
Nick Foles is a beast! He is the QB at Arizona. Great potential, but has never had a good team around him. Especially not this year, UA's o-line is absolutely terrible. True freshman were starting at both tackles to begin the season.
